On Nov. 4, BLACKPINK Jennie and The Weeknd rose on Twitter’s real-time searches after photographs of the two global stars circulated on the internet.
While it is not rare for Jennie to meet with various friends and celebrities abroad, internet users still felt the excitement and anticipation when the female idol’s photos with The Weeknd were shared online.
On the 2nd, Jennie seemed to be enjoying her time in California, where she even celebrated Halloween together with The Khadra Twins, Simi, and Haze Khadra, along with Deb Never.
In the photos, The Weeknd was spotted outside a hotel, and Jennie later on greeted and hugged him.
Although there is no detail about the agenda why the two artists met, several internet users speculated on a possible future collaboration.
In particular, prior to BLACKPINK’s debut, Jennie initially showed her love for the international hitmaker through a song cover of “Can’t Feel My Face.”
