OMG starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Mithun Chakraborty had released in 2012. The movie was more than a comedy-drama. It soon caught momentum in the audience and got massive success.

The success of the film has resulted in the makers making a sequel of the same. Akshay will be reprising his role. Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam will join him in the film. While the first part was based on superstitions and religion, the second one is based on the Indian education system.

According to a source, the movie will have Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role and Akshay as Lord Krishna. “The story of OMG 2 has been crafted in such a way that it will lend itself to the involvement of Akshay’s character, integrating the two seamlessly. The movie will also explore topics such as exam pressures and college admissions,” the source added.

The film OMG – Oh My God, written and directed by Umesh Shukla, was an official remake of the Australian film The Man Who Sued God. It followed the story of a middle-class atheist named Kanji Lalji Mehta, played by Paresh Rawal, who decides to sue God after his shop is destroyed because of an earthquake.

As per Director Amit Rai, the movie has gone on floors. According to sources, Pankaj Tripathi is now filming his solo scenes now. While Yami Gautam will be joining soon, Akshay Kumar will be joining the shooting in October.
