Rishi Kapoor was an amazing actor and human who died on 30th April 2020. He died due to leukemia. The actor had left a huge impact on the audience and well as his co-actors. He was polite, compassionate, dedicated and committed to his work. One of his co-stars Poonam Dhillon shared her memory with Rishi Kapoor in an interview.

Rishi Kapoor and Poonam Dhillon have been casted in many films together including Vaada Raha, Sitamgar, Tawaif and Zamana, Ek Chadar Maili Si, Dosti Dushmani, Amiri Garibi, Yeh Hai Jalwa and many more. Their films and love stories have been loved always. The chemistry between the two made the Jodi superhit of the 80s.

Poonam Dhillon in a recent interview talked about how the two shared a gala time together. The two would make fun of each other and play scrabble too. She also remembered how he would correct the other if one made a faux pas in English. She was grateful how he would help her when she got intimidated while on the shoot. Poonam also shared a note on Rishi Kapoor’s death sharing her love and memories with the great actor.

“Chintu always thought he knew English better than anybody else. I used to make fun of him saying, ‘You are a 10th pass and I have done my graduation so don’t challenge me”. Poonam Dhillon in an interview. Poonam and Rishi Kapoor’s chemistry was loved on screen and the stories of the two would make you fall in awe with them.
