The diva of bollywood ‘Sridevi Boney Kapoor’ was one of the biggest superstar of film industry popularly known by the name “Chadani”. Sridevi the most beautiful, versatile actress of Bollywood. Sridevi was born on 13th August 1963 and today it marks her 58th birth anniversary she set the beauty and fashion benchmark for upcoming generations. Sridevi was the evergreen style icon that Bollywood ever had.
Sridevi’s real name was Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapn but for her screen role she changed it to Sridevi. Her first debuted role was a child actor in Kadhan Karunai in 1967, infact which was her first movie in 1967 in which she appeared on the silver screen for the very first time and at that age she was just a 4 year old kid. She was the highest paid actress in the era between 1985 to 1992 .
Sridevi came from South Indian film Industry and after few years she make her way to Bollywood industry with her style, beauty and acting front. Sridevi was awarded with the prestigious Padma Shri Award. She was also voted ‘India’s Greatest Actress in 100 years’ in CNN-IBN nation poll conducted in 2013 on the occasion of the centenary of Indian cinema. Sridevi went off screen for 15 years straight and because of her family and daughters support she made a comeback with the movie “English Vinglish” in 2011 which was a blockbuster it was her way back to acting to return to movies.
Sridevi got married with director Boney Kapoor and after that she gave born to two beautiful daughters Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Jhanvi is the replica of Sridevi the same features and facial expressions.
Sridevi passes away at the age of 54 (1963-2018) died in 24th Feburary 2018 in Dubai, while she went their to attend family wedding function. It is believed that her death was because of accidental drowning in the bath tub. This year was her third death anniversary.
